I'm Mollie, an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor. My driving force is a profound passion for guiding individuals through life's challenges. With a blend of empathy, sensitivity, and a dash of humor, I am wholeheartedly excited to embark on this therapeutic journey alongside.

I hold a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology with a focus in Professional Clinical Counseling from National University (2023) and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Grand Canyon University (2020). My journey in counseling began while serving in the United States Navy (2012-2020) as a Command Career Counselor (2018-2020), assisting Sailors and their families in making significant life decisions about their future. Additionally, I have worked with non-profit organizations, supporting individuals and families coping with dual-diagnosis, substance abuse disorders, and severe mental illness.

Approach

My approach is client-centered, emphasizing collaboration, holistic care, and trauma-informed methods. Creating a safe, non-judgmental space, I encourage individuals to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Employing an integrative approach, I draw from modalities such as Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and solution-focused therapy. Committed to ongoing professional development, I stay updated on counseling best practices and research to ensure the highest quality of care.
