Hala is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor with a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from National University. She also holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Physics from Mustansria University and is fluent in Arabic.
Her therapeutic approach is eclectic and holistic, integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, meditation, guided imagery, and humanistic psychology. Hala specializes in working with individuals facing trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship challenges. She creates a respectful, compassionate space—both in person and online—tailored to each client’s needs.
A U.S. Army veteran (2015–2019), Hala brings a deep commitment to supporting veterans and their families. Her clinical background includes work with individuals experiencing severe mental illness, dual diagnoses, and substance use disorders, as well as immigrant youth processing complex trauma. She approaches therapy with cultural sensitivity, active listening, and unconditional positive regard.
Hala believes that clients hold the answers within themselves. Her role is to help illuminate unconscious needs and guide clients toward healing, growth, and wholehearted living. She is dedicated to ongoing professional development and supporting clients' spiritual and emotional well-being as part of a whole-person healing process.
